Care Corps, International

Care Corps International, a Santa Barbara Presbytery validated ministry, is a Christian organization whose mission is to recruit, train, and mobilize teams of mature Christians to work with the national church sharing in worship, bible studies, prayer, and fellowship as well as conducting therapy, leading group sessions, developing support groups and training the leadership for an on-going Christ centered care-giving mission. Care Corps started by Dr. James Witty (he was originally a Pastor in the Santa Barbara area and most recently interim pastor at Monte Vista Presbyterian) has helped in crisis situations in more than 20 war torn or natural disasters areas. He teaches the leaders in those countries how to rebuild and help the people deal with stress and loss.
